Initial thoughts on what can be in the complex - these are pre-planning discussions and so may change.

The current drawings suggest that the following facilities will be available within the complex.

We would appreciate your views and comments on these - or additions you would like to see.

The site is limited in size and so it is not possible to accomodate all wishes.

The complex is currently seen as being over 4 levels:

Ground Level - for retail shops and Parking, ramp to further car parking
First Floor - Car Parking
Second Floor - Ice level / Dance studio / Cafe
Third Floor - Seating / Fitness suite, Gym / Restaurant / Bar

Ground floor:

Entrance/Exit to Car Park - barrier controlled
Entrance to Restaurant
Larger Retail Area for convenience store
Entrance/Lobby to Ice Rink (access by stairs or lift)
6 No. smaller shops
Parking for Cars (ca. 31 spaces)
Space for Bycycles
Plant area
Ramp to first floor parking
Ramp from first floor parking
Access from parking to Lobby
Ticket machine for parking payment

First Floor:

Ramp from ground floor
Ramp to ground floor
Parking for cars (ca. 45 spaces)
Access from parking to Stair Lobby to Ice rink
Ticket machine for parking payment
Plant Area
Various stairs - means of escape in case of fire

Second Floor:

Skate reception
Male and Female Toilets
Disable toilet
Physio/First Aid room
Break out area - including Shop for Ice items, Coffee facility, Boot hire with view over Chapel Road
Dance and coaching studio - view over Chapel Road - in discussions this is now likely to be moved to the Southern element (Gym).
Stair access to seating
Ice Rink - 56m x 26m (60m x 30m is not possible on this site)
Storage area for Zambonie etc.
Disabled seating area's
Male and Female changing (for home and away)
Coach, Referee changing
Access to Fitness / Gym area (latest drawings now show this as additional box space/party space)
Access to VIP seating
Cafe - View to rink / over St. Mary's Street
Access to Restaurant
Various stairs - means of escape in case of fire

Third Floor:

Seating for between 797-861. All seating is to the North of the site
VIP seating for 10-20
Restaurant / Bar area - View over Rink and St. Mary's Street
Gym / Fitness area and reception, for around 40 stations. View over rink / natural light. In further discussions, this is now likely to be kept more open for further seating/boxes, area's for meetings/parties, dance studio.
Access to lighting etc.
